I met this adorable cockatiel today. So super friendly and love to be pet. He/she didn't want to leave my hand. I was wondering if you can tell the mutation and sex from the photo. Doesn't he/she pose nicely?

Oh I see it now! Such a cutie! Definitely a white face I'm not sure what sex though. This is my male whiteface

The body is very diffuse in color. Not solid at all. Almost beige looking. I can't take him or her home, my husband would throw me out! But I just love that little one.

Looks to be a cinnamon pearl whiteface... and I'd guess *probably* female.

If I knew parents genetics, I may, or may not, be able to confirm that. Actually, all I'd need to know is what mutation the mother is and I could possibly confirm if this is a female.

Thanks, Monica. That makes more sense because she was really more beige than grey. I have no way of knowing the mother. I wish I could have her. If anyone is looking for a sweet tiel in NYC I know where one is. ;)

You live in NYC? I live there too :)
