mustache parakeet help?!?!

I just bought a mustache parakeet three days ago when I bought him they said that it was a male. I've been doing some research and they say that his beak should be a bright orange if he is a male. Will his beak turn orange or is he a she?! He is already almost 2 years old. I need more info?!

If it's 2 and the beak is black it's a girl.
