I have searched and searched but I can find any list or info that mentions muscadine vines as a safe wood for perches. I know grape is accepted as fine and I would think muscadine would as well but just want to be safe. I have wild muscadine growing on every other tree in the woods outside my door growing in all kinds of interesting twist and shapes. Cut some yesterday as well as sweetgum, elm and hickory. Have them laying on a small tin shed to dry in the 100 degree heat we have been having for the next couple weeks to dry then bake for couple hours in oven at 225 before using. I have a baby Bare Eyed Too who should wean in the next few months and trying to have a variety of perches as well as toys to play and chew on.

When you look at any site for safe Woods it always states Grape Vines are ok, so I would imagine that goes for any type of Grapevine in general.

Well that was kind of my thinking as well however these are native growing wild muscadine . Just want to be as safe as possible with her. They grow everywhere and make really nice perches. Just hope she likes it. She could chew a perch a day and it would be no problem to replace.
