It has been almost a week (5 days) since I brought Mr. Jeeves home. He's doing good! He's wheezing a bit but not as bad as he was. We have a vet appointment middle of the week.

His poop was so watery when I got him but it looks good now, he's eating his veggies and fruits and goes through a bowl of pellets a day. I also got some nuts from nuts online and he likes playing with them, though he wastes more than he eats. He lets me scratch his head and steps up readily, though he does try to regurgitate quite a bit on me ( tis the season?)

He's finding his voice. He doesn't go into screaming fits, but he'll let out a loud yell.. wait a few minutes, then let out another one. Makes my ears bleed, but I expected it.

You can see where he plucked himself bald in some places. I haven't seen him pluck at all so I am hoping those feathers grow back.

Anyways, a few pictures and a video of his dance moves.

Is it just the pic angles? His body looks proportionately small compared to his head and neck for a GW. Not criticizing, just made me do a double take is all.

He is very, very thin. He was skin and bones when he was rescued, and is slowly starting to put weight back on. He's about 15- 20 years old and was taken from a bad situation near the beginning of march, emaciated, with an Upper Respiratory Infection and what is probably Aspergillosis. He finished a dose of heavy antibotic a week ago, I'm taking him to the vet the middle of this week to check for that and other things.

God bless you!! Thank you for doing the right thing for such a magnificent creature!! :)
