- "Sparky" the Blue and gold macaw, "Jax" Red fronted macaw, and "Little Bird" peach faced lovebird
I was so excited that my parents were cutting down some great branches that I was dreaming a new set of perches and play gym for my Sparky. Of course the first thing I asked was what tree they came from and boy am I glad that I did. They were Mountain Laurel which I promptly googled. Turns out that it is toxic to just about everything. I just thought you all should know and remind you to be sure to check everything before giving it to your bird.
