Willow the Umbrella Cockatoo
Firstly let me say she's a PIA about noticing when I'm trying to record her, lol, she was doing the "birdy treadmill" all morning while talking to me.... the minute I try to record it tho ... STOP! LOL

Anywho, it's a day off, sitting here sipping my cinnamon infused coffee hanging out with birdy bird! Morning all!

Well, howdy Tom, Willow, and Jackson! Love Jackson's deep color!

If I had a $ for every time a video was ruined when the subject froze!

Ahhh yes,the treadmill...The Cockatoo Man would do that also, but inside his house
Indeed..howdy Tom and Willow and Jackson. My brother had a "Jackson",but his name was Rusty :p
Lovely pics of Ms Willow and Jackson,Tom :)

I feel insanely familiar/comfortable with other umbrella cockatoos because they tend to look so similar and I have one lol (it isn't logical, but it is true).
It is funny to watch her because she looks about the same size as mine. Very cute! I like that play gym to the right. Does she enjoy it?

She spends most of her time downstairs (when people are home) on it. As I'm typing this she went from doing the birdy treadmill on her cage to the perch.... because she's trying to get as close to us as she can, lol

Oh I just love the name willow and such a beauty, I’m found of the cockatoos.

So cute! I like that inventive bridge you have going on there----I thought about doing something like that with mine, but she hates unstable surfaces (like rope swings). She has stepped on a few times and then she freezes and gets this crazy "take me off!" look in her eyes!

Does yours love those "c-links"? Mine cannot get enough of them. She takes them apart and then re-attaches them all over her cage---or just throws them on the ground ritualistically after snapping the opening against her beak ha.

She actually isn't that interested in them most of the time, usually if she plays with them on her own it's to make noise because she's mad and trying to get attention, lol

As far as the rope toy....it's VERY firm/stable. Might be worth a try if you have a few extra bucks! Willow likes both the bong and that one a lot....even if it's just so she can destroy it!

Lol- mine is just such a weirdo...I feel like she is more timid than most. I am her 3rd owner (JUST found out that I wasn't the 2nd) and she is getting better about playing and taking risks, but for a long time, she wouldn't play with anything.

LMAO!! When growing up,my neighbor had a Dalmation. Mary Ellen would put a bandana either around the dog's head or neck, and put HUGE rose-colored sunglasses on and let the dog walk the neighborhood, and the dog didn't seem to mind!

Sitting here sipping coffee trying to read my book on this chilly autumn-esque morning.

Someone feels my attentions need diverting.

Luckily for me that someone has a toy box that serves as a distraction, lol
