Morning visitors

These guys were visiting us this morning. We have recently put in a bird bath in our back yard.

They are masked lapwings. Otherwise known as plovers in our area.

They can be very noisy little critters and will defend their nest/young like crazy but I like them. We have about 10 families of them in our housing estate.

Their babies are ridiculously cute. I will see is can find a photo.
