As you might know, having heart suegury involves cracking open one's chest. When dome, the Drs wire the pices together. Welll seems like some of mine have come loose, so now a plate and screws have to be installed. Not supposed to be a big deal operation, but I am getting a bit tired of hospitals. No schedule yet, but I want to wish all my friends on Parrot Forums a Happy Holiday and new year, just in case.

So sorry to hear you must endure yet another surgery. My dad had the same thing happen to him after valve replacement surgery. He said it felt like his bones were rubbing back and forth along his incision every time he moved his arms.

He did well, and I wish you a smooth procedure. And Happy Holidays to you, too!

Oh Papa Salty! Feel better fast please, all of us love your presence here on the boards.

Of course I wish you the best of luck and a speedy recovery.

My mother had a titanium plate in her wrist. It broke/snapped and broke some bones in her wrist as a bonus. How a titanium plate could do that is quite beyond me.

Al, I'm so sorry to hear about another surgery and more time in a hospital. I hope the procedure goes perfectly and you recover quickly and completely. Thanks for the holiday wishes. Happy holidays to you and yours, wishing you a wonderful new year.

Oh no! Sounds like a relatively quick surgery, not tinkering with the heart or vessel structures. Hope it goes quickly and well!

Happy Holidays, Al, and Happy New Year. Look forward to hearing from you when able!

I hope it all goes well, Al. Happy holidays to you and yours!

I'm sorry to hear you have to go back to the hospital again. Hopefully everything goes smoothly and you're back in no time! Best wishes! Happy holidays and happy new year to you as well.

So you have been living up to the nickname eh? Wrenching stuff loose I mean ;)

Just make sure they put in something gold-plated, to match your heart-of-gold.

Aw, dang. At least it isn't supposed to be a major ordeal, but sorry things have been one-after-another for you lately! Happy holidays and all of that good stuff. We will be thinking of you. Keep us posted and good luck with everything!

The dangers of being a wonderful patient is that they want you back to brighten up their day. Hmmm, I guess that Strong Man Contest was a step too far. May want to cut that out of the line-up in the New Year!
A Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year my friend -- prays your way!

So sorry you have to go back, Al! but you’ll be fine! Small procedure.

I'm so sorry you have to go back in, but hopefully your stay this time will be a short one and you will be back home in no time at all.
