Wow! She is a bigger bird! Lol! Mopar weighed in at 373g at his checkup.

He says thank you for all the birthday wishes! :)

Mopar actually showing some of his colors for the camera!

WOW he is stunning! I just love when I take Amy outside for a mist bottle bath. She tosses her head all around and opens her arms WIDE and all these gorgeous colors show..just awesome

I love the "hidden" colors on these birds! It's such a sight to see!

I never appreciate a "green" bird, untill one day a friend of mine showed me "Appolo",his BF..two days later I bought Amy from a breeder, she was 16 weeks old. 'Til this day,she amazes me with her beautiful colors, especially when she opens her arms wide and spreads her tail for a misting bath. Absolutely stunning! I almost cry now, when I take her to the doctor for a check up and a wing/nail trimming :-((

Your pictures are always so fabulous! What kind of camera do you use?

Thank you! I enjoy it!

Collected a few cameras and lenses over the years. The last photo was more of a test shot. We recently purchased a used D3s from eBay. Ended up being a great deal that we couldn't pass on; and have been wanting a full-frame camera for a long time. :)

The others were taken with the trusty D7000. Great little camera, and can take a beating!

You are so talented no matter which one you are using (and you have some great subjects too!)

:)

Thank you so much! There's always so much to learn and try! And it does help to have good subjects! I think they are getting more and more used to having a camera shoved in their face. I did have maverick attack it once; now he is good with it. lol!
