I did a search and didn't really find anything about Mop N' Glo in specific, but my Eclectus parrot is housed in the front living area of the house and there's a small amount of tile infront of the front door. (5'X5' ,maybe?) My dad's girlfriend uses mop n glo to clean the tile floors (Bathroom, kitchens, etc) and I'm not awfully worried about the kitchen and bathrooms due to the distance from the front living room, but what about in the same room? I'm having a hard time finding out what's in it specifically so I'm just asking so I can let her know.. I'd hate to come by to a sick bird and no one knows why :/
It *smells* like cleaner.. not really harsh, but still.. it worries me.

I just read over the msds sheet then looked for tox studies. Mop n glo is banned in many countries, contains Methoxydiglycol which is linked to birth defects. You are correct about trouble with ingredient list which is a worry in and of itself.

I would try to convince them not to use on area near your bird at least. Offer to clean that yourself.... better safe then sorry. Lots of safe options out there. I used avi clean spray on kitchen floor other day and only used stronger stuff on spots!

Ouch, thanks guys :/ I'll let them know, since that's what my dad's girlfriend uses.. and I know how fast stuff like that can get into a bird and cause serious problems

For all our floors, we just use diluted white vinegar in water. Way cheaper than Mop 'n Glo or anything else, too!
