Ok, Spritbird you mentioned in another post about how Jasper is getting close to his first molt. I thought it happened at about a year but I see now from some discussion on another forum that it's around the 8 month range. I also saw a comment someone made there about their grey losing lots of fluff and then they noticed a feather.
Jasper has been losing fluff like a fiend with ever increasing amounts.Does this mean a molt is drawing near? Also are the fluff balls a baby thing or is that just insulation that they always have that will grow back? I was wondering because the dust is missed due to litterbox dust. The fluff is madness. It always looks like a snowstorm in my house!
Anyone know? Is all this fluff a baby thing or will he always do this?
