Mobile app connecting bird owners with bird sitters

Hello to all birders in this forum!
My name is Melis I arrived to USA 10 month ago and now live in Houston, TX.
Once me and my friend were travelling to Alabama to visit his dad on the road he told me a lot about his parrot Ramseys. Ramseys is like a family member for Tim(friend). during this conversation I asekd what he do with Ramseys when he leaved to vacation with his family. Tim answered that it was difficult but he managed to find bird sitter who visit twice a day and look after Ramseys. When I asked that can he board parrot to boarding hotels he replied that this is not recommended because it is much better for birds to remain in their own cage own home so they listen same sounds, smells and stuff like that.
I came up with an idea to create mobile application which helps connect bird owners with bird sitters. There is 3.6million birds in USA. Average American family have at least one out of home vacation per year.
I believe that mobile application will simplify process of finding trusted bird sitter. All bird sitters will be vetted, insured and bonded. also beackgrounds will be checked to make this transaction safe and secure. mind. Extensive video training will be done to sitters before their services is actually appears in our mobile app.

Bird sitters will be able to send short videos and pcitures and exchange messages with bird owners, so parent will be able to see their birds on vacation in their mobile phone.

Our team are confident that bird owners, bird sitters and birds themselves could benefit from this mobile application which will help bird owners to find bird sitters in their neighborhood so bird parents could leave their home for short vacation and their birds will be visited by bird sitters who will look after their birds.

I will be much appreciated if you could answer following questions. Answers will help our team to determine further problems and solutions we must solve in our developing mobile application.

1. Is this true that birds feels much better in their homes instead of boarding ?
2. How many time birds should be visited per day by bird sitter?
3. What tasks should bird sitter do on each visit?
4. What duration of each visit must be?
5. Is there is any diseases could be transferred between birds by bird sitters?
6. Do you think this mobile application is needed?
7. How bird owners find bird sitters nowadays?
8. Can we get in touch with you again if we have some small questions?
9. Do you think video training is enough for bird sitters?

This would probably be an accurate statement for most people. It would be a rarity I thing for someone to let someone unfamiliar with their birds handle or be in contact with their birds.

There are zoonotic diseases that are communicable to humans. We also would worry that disease may be transfered for bird to bird by other birds they had cared for that day.

There are many parrot people that will tell you they simple don't vacation any more because they have parrots. When my husband and I made the decision to get a parrot that was one of the considerations. We will never leave without her. We won't fly anymore. We have to use bird friendly hotels, even if the hotel is less convenient for our needs.

My adult son who adores parrots lives next door to me and would gladly care for her when we're away. But our parrot is a family member, we are her flock. She needs us and is dependent on us, physically and physiologically. For her psyche and well being her flock simply cant abandon her.

It's a great idea in it's essence, but better suited for a mammal.

Exactly this is why I am asking some expertise in this question.
We are creating app and I never had a bird in my life so this is why I am looking for advices in this field. We are planning to visit bird shows and stuff and communicate with bird owners to understand their needs as we described in earlier post.

We have received too many opinions we are glad that people shre their views on this subject. Some people really dont want to leave their birds to other persons and prefer board them even if bird is not too happy with boarding, some people ask their relatives and so on. As we believe all sitters must be impeccably vetted and trained to provide this services.
You are right diseases can be transferred to between parrots. This must be prevented by few measures explained us by veterinarians. We are creating concept and targeting people who is ok with leaving birds to sitters. I am thinking to have one parrot problem is I have two small sons and they are too fast and destroy everything they can in apartment
