What to do if the local petshop is far away and you need some millet..... Plant your own. This is from seeds I planted a few weeks ago. My 5 lovey's can't wait.

Yes, keep us posted. Where are you located? I've thought of trying this, but wasn't sure if Minnesota had a long enough, hot enough season. Mid May to mid Sept is our growing season.

I live in Suriname South America. Here it's always growing season [emoji16]. I think this will grow everywhere. I grow them in buckets for now. I think I will plant it on my yard also. I grew it from seeds the lovey's spilled. Takes a few weeks here to grow from seeds to harvest.

I would say just try it. You've got nothing to loose. Just a small bucket, some soil and water!

Silly story?

Back in New Mexico, some seed apparently escaped from a canary's treat cup either shortly before or after we had our carpet steam cleaned. A few weeks later, we discovered an astonighing variey of sprouts emerging! Of course, we had to uproot them, but we planted some seeds indoors and it produced a delightful array of... stuff!

Wait, the sprouts emerged from your carpet? Haha! That’s fantastic. And uh I just cleaned my carpet this morning. I guess I better watch for growth!
