Met a Yellow Collar Today

The cutest Yellow Collar was at my vet's today. He or she was quite talkative and kept calling out, "Hello! Come here!", and begging for attention. I wish I had brought my camera. I wanted to bring it home

Yes, it was, lol! It wasn't very big, a bit bigger than a Hahn's I'd say. I don't think I've ever seen one in person before. I heard it talking loudly from inside the exam room and asked, "Is that a macaw?" Then I took Merlin over to see it, but that kind of worried her, so I backed off about 10 feet. Quite a loud talker for a bird it's size.

I have seen pics of them, I dont think they are available here in the UK... If they are, they must be quite rare, as I have never heard of anyone here owning one!

i had a yellow collared before. he was scarred for life but turned into a somewhat happy
birdie when he met me. <3
