Met a new friend!

I apologize for not posting in photo gallery. I couldn't get the video to download there for some reason.

This is Talara, a 2 yr old hyacinth Macaw. We met her in July when vacationing in Florida. She belongs to my friends very good friend. Talara is a very gentle giant and a silly girl! I love her bunny hop! These birds are truly gorgeous and to be in her presence was magical!

The hop is so cute, and the way she sought of wobbles. How gorgeous does Talara tilt her head left the right, all the way down
Loved her little waddles whilst running after Jen.

I love Hyacinths! I hope that some time, I'll have the chance to meet one of these wonderful birds. Every time I see one on the internet, it just melts my heart. This video was no exception. Thanks so much for sharing!

Funny thing, I actually knew a member on here who owned a Hyacinth macaw named Talara. SHe is known as 'justwingingit'.

Not sure if it's just me or what, though I find the Hy's extremely beautiful, I've always felt that their head and feet are disproportionate to their body, as in to large, Talara seems to be very actice for a HY, and I also love the bunny hop, thanks for sharing GC
