After the death of my GCC, Tango(RIP), I just couldn't live without another bird in my life. He will never take the place of Tango, but he is healing my heart some. I introduce to you.. Mango <3 :) He is a shy little guy and a ladies man. He is not so fond of men.. good thing for me :D

LOL. A pet always helps healing wounds, congrats on getting Mango !

Very cute and congrats. I can't see him from the front is he a pineapple gcc?:)

He's very cute! is he a cinnamon or pineapple?

Sorry to hear about the loss of Tango. I lost my 10 month old in October :( It's one of the hardest things to go through. We ended up getting another conure in November and absolutely love him, but like you said, nothing can ever take the place of your lost pet. Conrats on getting Mango, he's so cute :)

He's gorgeous =) I hope he helps you through your healing

He's a cutey. Sorry about your loss.:(

What a little sweetie. Thank you for sharing Mango with us. I am sorry about your Tango. I just lost my 17 year old Noble macaw in October, two months before Valentino my RFM was due to come home and it was very hard not to have parrots in the house. We miss Mihijo very much but Valentino is helping with the healing process. It seems I am learning to love Valentino more and more every day.

Thank you everyone. I've had him for awhile(3 months) but just haven't been on the site for awhile so I figured he needed an introduction. I miss tango dearly, and it has been hard because I really loved his personality and hoped my new bird would be the same. Tango was a cuddle bug, not afraid of anything and loved attention. He was one of those Velcro birds that was stuck on me at all times, and liked to use his voice. He was not even a year old and could say 13 words. Mango on the otherhand is quiet, skittish and comes around on his own time. I bought him when he was 4-5 months old and he was semi tame, didn't like to be touched and didn't know step up. Now he gladly steps up, and has become a one person bird. He hates men too, so hes definately a ladies bird ;)

Even though he is the complete opposite of Tango, I love him just as much.

so sorry for your loss...... green cheeks look like soooooo much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!
