Well, I have a new 'keet! Little Gryffin has been sitting at the animal shelter I work at part time for weeks. I thought he was beautiful when he came in. One of the prettiest 'keets I've ever seen. I seemed to be the only one who thought so, though, because he kept being overlooked. We just got in a number of new birds from a drug bust, so we had to get some of them moved out. I decided Gryffin belongs with me. I haven't had a parakeet for over 20 years, but my very first birds were parakeets, so it is fun to get back to my roots.
Without further ado, here he is! Please forgive the blurry photo--I took about 20 but he would not sit still and this is the least blurry. He is pure white with black accents and a sky blue tummy and back. So handsome!
