RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
Gonzo is my family's very first parrot. He's been with us about 30 years, and was probably around 2 or 3 years when purchased. Just created a YouTube channel and thought I'd share some of his vocalizations.

He's a very handsome Amazon! And a smooth talker, love his voice.

Thanks for sharing your videos, Scott.

Scott, Gonzo is beautiful! :) Love the head colors.

Edit: I can now hear it lol. The videos started out muted, and had to unmute each one ;) How absolutely cute he is! I love how clear his voice is. I love how he says Gonzo!

Gonzo is so beautiful! His voice is so sweet and clear, and I just want to snuggle that sweetheart:)

Omg! Do you find his voice is closely resembling anyone's? Like
Tone, inflection, etc?

Wow! I knew Amazons had great mimicking abilities but Gonzo's voice is so clear (well maybe I'm just not used to hearing them talk haha).
He's so adoraablllee, I might lose a finger but I just want to hug him LOL :D

He is such a handsome boy!

What a sweetie! I love Gonzo's voice too. He has the most soothing voice I've ever heard on a parrot. What a lovely boy he is.

Thanks everybody, really appreciate the kind comments! Gonzo is entertaining and cute, but oh, that bite! He has flown to shoulders and attempted to bite the jugular!

Ahhh, so he definitely has the blue front attitude and is a male for sure:p If you can't tell, I too am familiar with "that" bite:eek: Does he get handled at all or is he too aggressive?

He can be handled sporadically, generally in the late afternoon. Must be in need of a 3 O'clock Milky Way Bar!! But seriously, the most frequent interaction is scratching him through the bars. When his cage is being cleaned, I let him sit on the top, and can generally coax him on my arm for the return.
