Hi Guys.
Codie is finally Home :D She is adorable and has settled in really well. She is eating plenty for herself. Im only having to give her formula once a day. I am soaking her seed at the moment and she is also eating fruit :D. As promised here are a few pics of her on her first day with me! As you can see she is quite happily playing with some of her toys.

Oh my goodness....she is beautiful....congratulations...
I am afraid of the amazons for some reason but I sure do like them.
Glad to hear she is settling in....you sound like a happy owner.

Thank you Kit :D I am happy. You just want to cuddle her, she is so Adorable.
I have a fear of African Greys as you have with Amazons :(

Now see, that makes me giggle.....to me zons are scarier then greys...LOL Either way, I'm glad you have this new bird in your life...I look forward to hearing many stories about her.

I was always kind of scared of zons as well. And in 4 weeks with mine, I'm completely thrilled with him! And so is my conure. He is actually pretty mellow and fairly quiet.

She is a beautiful baby, Wenz!

Codie has been with me 2 days now and I am amazed how quickly she has settled in! She is eating well. Im soaking her seed at the moment and she loves it :) Im only having to give her formula once a day.. She lets me know when shes had enough, she just walks away lol. Fingers crossed, so far so good :D

Congrats , now you need to get that baby on pellets.

Congrats she is beautiful. Zons are so special, not scary @ all Kitt. lol I agree w/Henpecked introduce her to foods now while she is still flexible. There's nothing more stubborn than a 'zon set in their ways. Pellets & veggies need to be a big part of their diets. Enjoy, I love them when they are babies.

*GASPS* shes gorgeous!!! what a lovely baby, im sure shes going to be a wonderful fid for years to come :D what kind of zon is she?
