Nadia-Parakeet
Last time, I explained how my parakeet, Nadia, was adjusting wonderfully to her new home. But during the last couple of days she has been avoiding me and biting my hand when I get to close. I don't know what happened, before it started she was great, she was even learning to come out of her cage on her own. I have a suspicion that what ever it is, my younger brother, albeit not too younger, is responsible. She'll still eat out of my hand usually, but I'm getting worried. Does anyone have an ideas of what is wrong or what could have happened?

It can be anything. If your younger brother did something to her it may very well have scared her good to the point she's in defensive mode. You just have to slowly work with her again and don't let your brother mess with her.

Thanks, after watching her today it seems like my parents have yelled at my brother too much and he yelled back, and the loud voices scared her, and I think her cage seems like the safest place to her, I started today by giving her some millet after bringing her to the other side of the room, and then started to talk to her softly and sing a little, to show her that her cage wasn't the only safe place.
