Sorry pics round the wrong way... And his new cage is coming later today.

Lovely boy :), glad to hear he's getting a new cage too!

marley is a pretty fella. i can't tell for sure from the photo -- is he plucking the underside of his neck?

slowly build up trust with him.... spend time with him however he seems comfortable.... if he won't come out, sit near him with cage door open. talk, make fun noises, teach him "step-up", play mellow music around him.

Not sure -- are you familiar with living with a parrot -- there are lots of articles, photos, and posts to see suggestions about how to set up a cage properly with multi-levels of perches, how to clean, food, water, sleep time, location, temperature, light and sunlight, etc. Plus, you can always post your questions for advice whenever you need it. There are plenty of people that are interested in helping around here on he forums.

Thanks. I don't want this to sound rude (don't read it the wrong way), I've been researching parrot habitat and husbandry and also enrichment for the past few years all be it by my self as I was looking in to getting a CAG but poor Marley was in such a bad state I couldn't leave him with that monster. His cage he is in now is just a quick fix until the new one comes ( 150cm high 70cm wide 70cm depth) ..... just had to stop half way as the delivery man just knocked lol. I've been advised by the avian vet that I went to that he isn't plucking its the old cage he was in was so small that is was cooped up to one side of it for days on end and he has started preening them out.
I would love any advise that people can give. My email is [email protected] if anyone has any good links that they want to send me.

Many thanks all

Xx
