Great contest. Really good stuff.
I can be just innocently minding my own bizness during the day, when out of nowhere I think about eggs with faces and I start to chuckle and everybody around me is asking what's so funny.

It's the truth!

I was sitting with him and out of the blue he started chuckling, and I said "WHAT, WHAT?" and he just said "egg with a face" and then I started to laugh, and then our friends said "WHAT, WHAT?" and we had to explain the whole parrot-forums-photo-contest-egg-with-a-face thing, and then THEY laughed.

We all had masks and social distance, but... "egg with a face" was still...
VIRALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL...!!!!!!!!!!!

Meet my babies, they don't have baby photos because both of them are rescued.

Erwin - she was rescued in September 2019 and has the sweetest character, also adores food (including important documents)!

Humus-Caratacus - he was rescued in March 2020 and is the most curious little creature, also can get with both of his legs in my porridge breakfast without a question!

It sure does, parrots are not domesticated and have no reason to trust humans. You've certainly done a lot of work and earned their trust and love!

I would love to enter this egg photo officially, but it was sent to me by the Rb's breeder almost 40 years ago. I do THINK it's the real Rb, but I'm just not sure, so it has to be a JustForFun post, dang it.

About a third the size of a regular chicken egg...
