Make-Up?

I've been wondering about this for a while now, actually. I wear make-up, and I never let Kirby lick my face because I thought make-up couldn't be good for a bird. Should those of us with make-up wipe it off before playing with our birds?

Especially me with my foundation, haha. My face is pretty red so I don't blend in the foundation very much. In fact, hours after applying it, if I touch it I get a yellow, slightly sticky finger. Is it okay if he licks my face with that on?

Makeup is typically safe, since its on your face, but I honestly don't know. Parrots do have pretty dry tongues, so they really aren't going to pick much up...but I only wear powder and never really thought about it.
