magazines

what magazines out there are recommended? much like websites its hard for a newbie to know fact from fiction sometimes and I want to learn the right ways before getting my bird-buddy. I am looking at conures but with plans to move into an apartment I will listen to ideas about any cuddly, intelligent bird. I am starting out with limited knowledge, but want reliable sources of info. Thanks

I would imagine that the number one publication for pet birds that most would suggest is "Bird Talk" magazine as would I, you can find it at most pet stores that sell pet birds, or save some money and subscribe, another good publication is "Bird Times" those are about the only two that I read on a regular basis, there may be other magazines that some can recomend to you, good luck and welcome to the forum...........

Yep both 'Bird Talk' and 'Birds USA' are great magazines. If it is available to you Australian magazine 'Bird keeper' is another great one, as is the UK publication 'Parrots magazine'
