I think you are getting off easy.
Bingo my Yellow nape.... When he sees me in glasses he doesn't hate the glasses, he hates ME.
It would be impossible for me to make a video like that with my Bingo.
I would end up bloody and bruised.
Thats the thing with the bigger birds. It means bigger wounds but the increased pressure leaves bruises as well.
The same treatment would be dished out wearing hats and jackets and

Its always the first thing he goes for when we hangout!
I'm the only person who's accepted by Zenek to wear glasses, likely because I wear them from the beginning almost all the time. Other flatmates wear them only for some things and Zenek hates it so much attacking them.

Birds dislike glasses because they resemble unblinking predator eyes. Which our birds are hardwired to recognize for their survuval. Also, if you do not wear them often, it is something different, and you look different. Another "red flag" to our fids.

My budgie Rocky LOVES eyeglasses! My husband wears them and to Rocky they're the best perch very close to Daddy!

OMG, I feel your pain....my two think my glasses are perches for something to nibble on. They have just about ruined them......I can't get them to stop LOL
