What is the Macaw Owner's Alliance? I see many people with that under their posts.

Mostly its just a group of people who own macaws we just talk about our macaws and things macaw related. We also have our own zello channel

MOA is a social group for Macaw owners who use Parrot Forums. It's for the discussion and sharing of our ideas, experiences and thoughts. It's also a place to post and share our Macaw photos. It has a group photo gallery that's only one click away. Discussions within the MOA group may be more focused and ongoing than those in the main forum categories, or they may merely be casual and sporadic, and they can even be off topic. Nearly anything goes as far as group interaction there.

You should have received an invitation via private message to join MOA. If you have more questions, please let me know

What is a zello channel?

Zello is a push-to-talk voice chat system that works globally (i.e, wherever there's an Internet connection). The MOA channel is a place we've set up on the Zello network for members to have voice conversations with one another. You can have in-channel or private chats with other users there. You can even have chats with select groups of individuals if you like.

This information is for forum members who are as well MOA group members.

It has come to my attention that some of you may be unaware of how to navigate to the MOA group page in order to follow or join in the conversations there. As such, here is the method to most easily take you to the MOA section:

Once logged in, from any ParrotForums.com page simply click on the word 'Community' that appears within the blue header stripe at the top of the page. This will produce a drop-down menu upon which the first choice is 'Social Groups'. Click on 'Social Groups' and the main groups page will load. From there, simply click on 'MOA (Macaw Owners Alliance)' and you're there .
