Macaw needs someone

Oh my gosh! I cant believe people think keeping birds in round cages is ok, and a tiny one at that.

So sad. I think if it was anywhere near mr I'd nab the bird and kill the owner.

Doesn't matter what we think of the owner it only matters what we think about the baby.

I can't take in another but if there is anyone in the southeast that is willing, and qualified to take this macaw please let me know. We will find a way to make it happen.

I'll call in the morning to see what the owners have to say.

Be Big,
Alan

Tarkus,
If no one ends up helping this guy, we will have to talk.

I've never been to the east coast, some day I hope to check it out. I've been all over Mexico and the Baja Peninsula but never east of New Mexico, (except for the time I was born in Chicago, Ill.). From where I live now to get to our house in San Felipe, Baja Cal., 12hrs. drive. 12hr. drive is about all I would want to do in a day.

Id love to take him in. We just moved our grey to a new cage and have this one available. Id need help with the cost of getting him. But everything else is covered if hes still for sale.

Unfortunatly that cage is way too small for a Macaw, but maybe you could sell it and get a bigger one? Good luck if anyone on this forum gets him, poor baby should not be in that round cage.

Yeah ive read 3ftx2ftx5ft is minimum. That one is 2x31/2x4 but would give us time to find another before he outgrows it. Plus we have an open cage policy in the house, lol. All the birds have theirs doors open to roam all day. :)
