Budgies (Rescues that died of old age😭😭😭 Names: Baby and Sweetipie Rip)
Well, I have a small outdoor aviary here FL with 1 tiel. I upgraded it to an 8x10 and will hopefully be adopting some budgies, bourkes, conures, and doves soon. But I always really liked big birds. I know this may be the wrong place to ask but could I possibly adopt an Amazon, Eclectus, Macaw, or an African Grey, just 1, and add it with the other birds I am adopting sometime in 2025? My tiel is very gentle, she has been bullied by budgies, so I really don't want her hurt. Which of the large birds can get along with my list, if not it's fine, and if they can what specific species, thx.

you seem very knowledgeable and you are sure your tiel is safe in an outdoor aviary in Florida?
Will she live out there all the time?

My birds might survive that, but I never would.

Thats a nice size aviary :) I am in Florida also and have 2 GCC, a macaw and an AG. I house all of them separately but they can all see each other. I am on the nervous side putting my larger birds with my small birds just because they are so fragile, even playing a large bird can kill your tiny ones. if you want a bird larger then a Tiel that may be good maybe a Senegal type size? I wish you luck and keep us posted.
