I am not exactly sure Ham is very happy about it ... I think it will be better as soon as they can interact with each other ... I think Hamlet is upset because he knows there is another birdie in the house and he can't interact with him ... We are going to get Mac a "well birdie" visit on Thursday after that and if all looks good from there I think we are going to interrupt the quarintine period. This decision is based on:
1.) It's a pain in the "tail feathers" for us.
2.) We got Mac from our friends at our favorite parrot store (www.parrot-safari.com) and Hamlet has been to the store for boarding and we know that all the birds are healthy.
3.) Mac being "long clipped" makes it almost impossible to keep him in one place, unless he is closed in his cage ... and we don't like that.
4.) With only one of us home, we can't interact with both of them at the same time and that isn't fair to the other birdie.
5.) Mac has been in a cage with like 6 or 7 other green-cheeks for the last 2 months, and now he is in a cage all by himself and he looks lonely.
If all is cleared by our Vet (and we know it will be) would you all do the same thing? Are we jumping too quickly? Is a 10 day quarintine adequate in this specific situation? Any input from you guys would be wonderful.

yep I've never quarinteened although as i get more birds I'm sure I will. We have the small house and the birds have to be in my room or outside so it's always made it hard. and Meghan I've also learned the art of playing dumb it is a wonderful thing to know.
