Luna is doing very well just now.
She had a case of the sniffles recently and we gave her a course of antibiotics that cleared things up. I think it was the same thing Bingo had some months ago but was less severe. Luna did not develop a runny nose with her noise breathing. It was so intermittent I knew what would happen if I took her to the vet. He would not hear or see anything and give her the same meds I gave her. If it comes back I will make an appointment but for now it looks to be resolved.
I had to towel Luna to give her the medicine. I really did not want to do this because I still had not got her to step up onto my hand. Despite toweling her I have managed to get her to step up onto my hand. Only a few times and I have to offer her the meaty part of my thump. That is to say if you make a fist and then rotate your hand so your palm would be facing up she will step up onto my thumb. So that took almost 7 months of patiently getting her desensitized to hands and fingers to accomplish.
She is still interested in Bingo and Bingo still has no interest in her (except to see how she tastes) . I don’t think she has learned any new words or phrases. She still screams, especially in the morning. She is eating her birdie bread again. She stopped eating it when she was sick. I think that was really the first sign that there was something wrong. She still is playing with and having big fights with her toys.:smile022:
I got one unusual photo of her. She had just taken a bath and was on the back of the couch waving her arms (flapping her wings) and so I took a few pictures of her with my cell phone.

That’s it for now. I hope to have a Bella update soon.
