So LuLu has recently began to pass some really watery stools. The liquid around the poop is really clear and her poop is in pieces (if that description makes ANY sense whatsoever) I've attached a picture of it, I know its disgusting. When I got LuLu she was on a strictly pelleted diet. And it took me a while to get her to finally start eating a fresh food diet. For the past 2 weeks she has been eating a diet of mashed sweet potatoes, raw pasta, cooked rice, peas, corn, and assorted beans. And I also give her pieces of fruit throughout the day. I'm still in the stage where I'm figuring out what she likes and doesn't like. I'll go and see what she didn't eat and I'll try something else.
For the past 2 days her poop has been abnormal. She seems healthy, she still screams intermittently throughout the day, but i've gotten no complaints even from the people who live with me. She actually starting to become a little more active during the day and she is an extreme cuddle bug at night. I did call the vet but he told me that it was nothing to fuss over so I set her appointment for a few days from today so I can watch her and cancel if it gets better.
What do you guys think? is it something serious?

When I changed Ipo from pellets to fruit and veggies his poop got watery too. I did some research and talked to the vet who explained that this was probably because his diet now contained so much more liquid. And as long as everything else looked good not to worry. Made sense to me. Hope this helps

ok from what i can see in your pic, you have nothing to worry about, her poop is fine its more than likely its the change over from pellets, if you look up one of my old threads, called eckkie breakie and eckkie fruit lunch you will see the food she needs to be on, unfortunately it is a hit or miss with there food but if you just keep offering it every day they will eat it and you will have a very happy and healthy bird
