she's super silly too, we walked into the store and there she was on the top of her cage hanging upside down with one foot like she's a little bat... haha it was soooo funny. She fell asleep in my hand while i walked around the store looking at foods, treats, and toys for her haha, it was so cute

She is very pretty. She's got those sweet, dark, baby eyes.

hah thank you I can't wait to see how the red spreads out on her. She's that beautiful green but those flecks of red just take her to the next level! haha She's a quiet little girl, not real talkative, but when we say "Lucy" she cocks her head to the side and lets out a little low chirp it's so cute haha

Oh wow, that's so amazing, I remember when we took our baby home and it was such a little growing baby it would fall asleep after a nice shower. Such great times.

I love this bird you have. Before I found a red sun I was going to get a black cap, they are so beautiful, he looks like such a cute little guy. How can you not love a conure?

it's got to be impossible! haha she's such a sweetheart. She doesn't bite (hard) and she is very comfortable with both me and my boyfriend which is GREAT ^^ I can't wait to bring her homeee!

oh yes she fell asleep in my hand this weekend while i walked around the store, it was soooo cute. as soon as she woke up she started exploring my fingers then flew to my boyfriend and started eating his shirt! XD

lol I think I would wind up crying from laughter for such a small bird fly toward me just to eat my shirt!

lol we both laughed hysterically. The little green birds seem to have a liking for him, he was playing with a kakariki and another kakariki jumped on his arm and up to his shoulder and started "giggling"

Golly she is GORGEOUS! Congratulations!

We just got our first conure a Yellow sided Green Cheek...OMG! He's FABULOUS!

Last night, he burrowed under the blanket with my husband and fell asleep all snuggled up...I said, are you ready to put Franklin to bed? He said...you wanna see? I said, yes...he oh so gently lifted up the blanket and there was Franklin all cozied up sleeping away...brought tears to my eyes! I said OMG! I've never seen anything soo precious in my life! Hubby said..."now do you want to disturb him?" "noooooo...my gawwwwwd, he's soo precious!"

Yea, Franklin melts our hearts! Even my husband got watery eyes peeking at Franklin sleeping so peacefully on his stomach burrowed under the blanket.

awwe! there's about 9 baby conures all in one stand (it a right fair size, it's clean and safe for them) and one of them fell asleep then it was a domino affect through the corner lol, they all huddled up and cuddled together sleeping. it was ADORABLE, then 2 of them fell over on their backs and just kept sleeping, it was so cute!!!!!

Sabbath: maybe hahah the deal was no more pets, at all.... then i mentioned a bird and all of a sudden "sure dear, lets get a bird, can we get a conure?" hahahaha

Thanks Darkling <3 she's not even home yet! haha she's gonna be a spoiled little girl... not too spoiled though lol I'm already making lists of things i need to get to make her some neat toys I'm moving this week so once i get unpacked she'll have lots of boxes to play in! haha

ROFLOL!! I love that trait about the conures...sleeping on their backs...unbelievable that they can feel safe like that. Silly birds! Franklin was on his side sleeping on hubby's tummy...most precious bird behavior I've ever seen
