Ok I have a yellow lovebird got him since a baby feed him and transformed into a beautiful bird very tamed...its one year old ...since 4-5 months ago it stared to pluck all feathers right now has no feathers on his chest ...bare skin....loosing on its head imposible to pluck feathers above his head..sometimes scratches a lot in the head....nothing has change in my home ,same place, food,no new pets just him,my daughter, my wife and myself always play with him...its the same bird I mean from his behavior doesn't look sad or retreated...please help! use to fly around my apartment, imposible now...no feathers to sustain flight...

Md... glad you found us. Plenty of lovebird (and general parrot) expertise and empathy here. There have been some very helpful threads on plucking. I expect someone more organized than I will give you the links.
Meanwhile... just scientifically... with so many variables held steady... what has changed? Anything? Even the slightest, most insignificant-appearing thing?
In any event, glad you found this site. Stay with us... we'll stick with you!

Forgive me. I'm usually more economical about my posts (via editing) but I wanted yo be sure my subsequent thoughts stood out. :)
I know the bald head is not explained by this, buttttttt....... I did hear once of a bird tat plucked its head feathers using its feet...

Please test him for PBFD right away. You can use AvianBioTech and it's less than $20.

Yes please seek the help of an Avian Vet but would be sensible to describe the symptoms before going so as to not risk infecting any other birds if indeed it is this.

I'm embarassed that I didn't think of the PBFD possibility. Definitely a thing to be addressed - diagnostically, contagion-wise...
