My birds: Skyler/Sky, violet Indian Ringneck. Mother's birds: Norman, African Grey and Mildred, Blue Crowned Conure.
I got some real good photos of her today.

Here she is. :D

Check out this beautiful new primary feather. Still growing in.

See the small bright green feathers on her back with no bronzing? They're new ones.

Thanks.

Well, Cookie likes all birds. She is very sweet. She talks a lot and shows off when she sees another bird around. She loves to preen everything and anything (including herself), so she loves to sit preening other birds.

Erik doesn't seem to like other birds. He has flew at Cookie before when she was on my shoulder and he just generally doesn't seem to like other birds (probably because he is bonded to my mother so much).

Norman and Cookie like each other, but because of the size difference I would never actually put them together, but once their cages were too close and they were gently kissing each other through the bars. :p I don't know how Norman is with other birds though.

Cookie tries to preen Merle when I have them out together, but Merle opens his beak at Cookie, so I don't risk it. I think he can be a bit jealous if Cookie is on my shoulder and he isn't too. They did share some pellets though.

Nova I'm not sure about, but he didn't like other birds at all at his last home. He is still being quarantined too so I haven't actually let him out with any birds yet.

I have had four Green Cheeks (five including Cookie) and three of them got along very well with Cookie (and Cookie liked them too), but one of them didn't like Cookie. It was a two year old female bird.

I had another Blue Crowned Conure once and it tried to attack Erik.

Merle has seen Erik briefly outside and they ignored each other. Merle hasn't seen Norman yet.

Erik seems a bit aggressive to Norman. What's really funny though is, Norman annoys Erik by making fart noises (disturbing, I know). It makes Erik really angry and he starts doing aggressive dances at Norman. They can go on like that for ages. Funny to watch.

Hope that answered your question. :)

Thanks :) it's fun to hear about other people's flock dynamics. Norman and Erik sound funny together :D I wonder where he learned the fart sounds :11:lol

They are funny together. The dance Erik does is really strange.

I don't know where he learned the fart noises. This is the only home he has had though. :32: :54: Each one he does sounds different too.

Thanks for the darling photos and flock stories, Emily! Cookie is so cute, showing off those shiny new feathers.

Cookie is looking wonderful! I am so excited about her beautiful new feathers:) Please continue to update us:)

Aww she's so precious. I bet you're so thrilled about that wonderful primary! Loki is re growing his primaries very slowly for the first time in over a year so it's very exciting!
Such a cutie. :)

Norman loves fart noises. He loves to make fart noises when I answer the door to someone new. Erik sways and stretches his neck every time Norman makes a fart noise, this only encourages Norman to make more

LOLOL!!!! Emily said that earlier! She didn't say that he does it when you answer the door to someone new :D:D that's hilarious.

It's really funny, I try to keep a straight face and pretend there is no fart noises, but the person I am talking to at the door must wonder what's going on!

That is hilarious! Really loving Erik more and more. Such a personality on him. I wouldn't be able to keep a straight face! Oh man. I'm just imagining the poor unsuspecting person's look on their face and dying laughing here at work.
