if anyone sees a little bird flying around in the area near Moon Rd in Columbus GA please contact me. She doesn’t have much time as it’s very cold outside and Friday it’s going to get even worse. Please! Her name is Chiri , pronounced Chi-Ree

Welcome to the forums, @Ragansus , but I am very sorry for the circumstances that brought you here.

Below are a few resources for you that may help. I strongly recommend that you list on the Parrot Alert website, if you have already not done so. A number of our members have been successfully reunited with lost birds through that service ...

It's also good to advise local animal control and all vet clinics in your vicinity, not just avian specialists but ALL vet clinics, as lost birds are often found and handed in there. You can also post on local Facebook groups for lost pets and/or birds, and do an old fashioned letter-box drop with paper flyers. I did just that years ago when I lost an Indian Ringneck and it resulted in him being returned to me on the very same day.

I wish you all the very best of luck in your search for Chiri, she looks like such a little sweetheart! 🙏

Any luck? Keep being hopeful, my budgie i found lived outside, in Florida heat for 3 months, 98 degrees, lighting, rain.. you get the point. Stay hopeful!
