Looking for a GCC

Hi everyone. I was just wondering if anyone knew a beeder or a place where I can find a Cinnamon Green Cheeck Conure. I had one bad sadly she died, I am guessing of old age. So I am trying to find one that resembles her since I loved her so much. Oh I live in Davis, Ca. Thanks again you guys.

What a small world! I adopted my CAG, Pepper from a rescue in Washington state. She was shipped to me by her foster mom, who lives in Davis, CA. Have you thought about getting a GCC from a rescue?

Actually we have a young member here who is handfeeding babies right now, that I think is in California. I know one parent is a cinnamon so maybe some babies are, too? His name is cdog on here. He might sell you one.

Rio Mom how did you find the rescue?

The rescue is Lovely Feathers Avian Rescue. I found out about it through a mutual friend. They have a facebook page, I think they're still working on their website.

I am handfeeding a 5 week old cinnamon green cheek right now. I'm not sure how far Davis is from me, i live in Newbury park.

I got my cinnamon from a breeder in LA area for 180

Rio's mom has a good point if you don't end up getting the baby. Rescue's are great to go through. All of our's came through a rescue group or were rehomes that really needed a home. It makes you feel really good to give them a 2nd chance. But I also understand wanting a baby. Hey Rio's mom I just noticed your Cag has almost the same name as mine. Mine is Peppers. Often she calls herself "Pepperoni". We are not sure where she got that from!

Pepper calls herself "Peppery" I've called her "Pepperoni" too! lol

Briana was also Bri and Bri Bri

Pete is now Petey

Merlin is also Merloony or Loony Girl

Roxy is of course the Incredible Roxy Noodle Horse, hence my user name

Malone is Mojo, Mojolone

Sadie I guess just usually gets called kitten. She likes that rather than kitty. But, she also likes when I tell her, "You are a good thing." So she is also "thing".
