Look what Rickeybird's mom did!

Just when I get a bit big headed and start to believe that there is more than just mush in my skull. I'm face with the reality of someone in full control of both right a left side of what going on inside her head!

I continue to be FLOORED!!!!

Gail, what great painting of Gus. Multi media, you can see the control this lady has, and him tearing up a phone book. You have made Kantuk very happy, I wager. Bravo.

Y'all knock me out. I have never felt more appreciated or understood.

You macaw afficionados will note the brown irises... the color of baby B&Gs until around 6 months, when they begin to lighten. The idea just went boom in my mind. This is baby Gus in his new (rescue) life with Ms. K. Her "new" baby.

Thanks, all, all, all.

P.S.
The phone book theme was Ms. K's idea!

Kaintuck very happy indeed. Having one of Gail's paintings is better than any photograph. Photos show what a bird looks like - her paintings show who the bird IS. For anybody who doesn't know this already, Gail paints these portraits on request for a ridiculously small fee. I can't imagine any better tribute to the lost and beloved Oliver than her beautiful portrait of him.

That is simply amazing! So full of character with an ideal prop to keep a macaw enthralled!!

Okay, now I'm walking around grinning and giggling. Thanks, everybody!!!!!
