This is why I have committed to doing the training. Not only do I enjoy it, but I feel it is good for Baxter's overall well being and for our relationship, as well. Whenever I don't feel like doing a training session (because I'm being lazy), I remind myself of all the benefits Baxter and I receive as a result!
Of course, the trick training does not prevent bad behavior when mommy is spoiling Baxtrer and letting him up on her shoulder all the time! Now I need to figure out how to get him to behave up there AND come down when asked!
