We've had lost parrots, ill parrots, mistreated parrots, terrible storms.... I'm ready for something more upbeat. It really is a joy to have my friend & he adds tons to my life. Can anyone tell me the funniest thing (or maybe will be funny later) that your fid did today.

I make homemade jam & a neighbor offered to bring strawberries from NC for me this week. She brought 3 gallons & they were sweet & beautiful. I left the flat on the kitchen counter & went outside to finish a few chores b4 I started w/them. Merlin was napping in his cage, so I didnt worry about him, I was only going to be out for a few minutes. When I came back in, my kitchen floor looked like one of those ball games that the kids like to jump around in.:11: He had threw my beautiful sberries, one at a time to the floor. He saw me & squealed, I dont know if he was proud or afraid. Needless to say, I was very late last night working up my berries. I don't think I'm going to share my strawberry jam w/him. lol ;)

:green:Thats cute.

Bean, my blue front, finally discovered the little chi fish tank that I have had for about 3 months now. He was walking around the tank chasing the fish, and getting very frustrated that he couldn't grab their tails. It was pretty funny.

I'm converting my parakeets to ZuPreem fruit blend. They have this little ferris wheel I used to put seed in and they had so much fun getting it out. Well this morning I put the pellets inside it and when Tio went to go get some seed he saw the pellets. He was so angry he grabbed the wheel and spun it as hard as he could!! Funny thing is not many pelllets fell out cause well duh its a ferris wheel lol! He was so mad when they didnt spill he did it a few more times!

Rio seems quite pleased with himself when he learns something new. Over the past 2 or 3 days he has learned to "hang" by one foot from my finger. He's so comical when he does it! If he sees that I still have treats left when we're training, he will keep doing his newest trick without even being asked. If that doesn't work, he just breaks out every trick he knows til he gets a treat. GCCs truly are little clowns! :)
