Hello all! I have recently acquired a Yellow Bibbed Lory. This is my first Lory allthough I have had other parrots in the past. He is a very entertaining and busy (I would guess that he has birdie ADHD ) Hatchdate was 7-19-10. This is my first baby bird so all training is up to me. Already learned "step up" and "step down" (but usually refuses the "step down" because he wants to be held all the time). Showers are his favorite part of the day. Cat toys seem to be more entertaining to him than the many parrot toys that I spent too much on. I got him about a month and a half ago and already he has a toychest full of stuff. I am still learning and constantly reading about Lories. If anyone has useful information regarding this breed I would greatly appreciate it.
