Leg band AT2936

Hi everyone I’m new here, I got an African Gray 3 weeks got that I was told he is 5 years old, I was told that I’m the 3rd owner, he has a band on his leg that is AT2936 how can I find more accurate info about is origins, exact age and so on

I adopted my Grey from a rescue. She takes in parrots from all over California. When I took Jasper to get a check up, my vet actually knew part of the leg band ID. She told me who hatched him. Turns out, he was hatched not too far from me. There aren't very many avian vets in my area maybe 5 or so. I'd start with them. They'd have to be familiar with the local breeders.
