I like to experiment...

But this one was so successful I even got the KEETS to eat it.. and they hardly ever eat anything but a little fruit.. their seeds and some pellets.

1large banana
2 cups assorted veggies
1/2 cup of milk
1 egg
2 cups mixed pellet..(I use zupreem fruit, veggie, and Roudybrush)
3/4 a cup of various seed

Blend all of this in a blender...

Add in flour as needed until the dough is thick.

Bake at 425* for about 10-20 minutes - depending on the veggie contents... you have to watch them. Could be less, could be more.

I will definitely be trying! Thank you for sharing:)

I always substitute the milk for fruit nectar, as most birds don't digest dairy well. You can find the nectar in the grocers usually on the international or juice aisle, I use Jumex. Or you can also use carrot juice also.

Today I made berry Birdie Bread. I am in a food Co Op and this week received a ton of fresh carrot, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries. Here is the recipe I made up, and it sure is pretty with all the fresh berries.

3 cups organic cornmeal
1 cup apple nectar
1 cup fresh steamed carrots, pureed
1 cup fresh green veggies
2 whole eggs, shell included
1/2 cup peanut butter
Spirulina
Bee pollen
Fresh berries ( listed above )

Mix all in a food processor- except berries
Place in a greased 13 x 9 glass pan
push whole berries into the mix
bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes
