Ellie like other parrots likes chewing on my laptop keys while I'm working, BUT THEN i found these great things on amazon that cover your laptop keys so that your parrot can't chew off the keys. and if they poop on your laptop because the cover is silicone you can just take it off, go wash it, and put it back on your laptop. this thing is awesome.

This reminds me of being in grade school in the 2000s, they had opaque covers made of silicone like this that they put over the keyboards during typing classes so we had to have our home keys memorized without looking down. Grade school me hated that... adult me thinks that those covers would in fact be incredible as a birdproofing measure!! Lol. As long as you don't look away too long, because it might end up with lots of holes in it if you do.

I used to have a wireless junk keyboard with the batteries out that I'd give my birds to distract them from my keyboard but usually they want to be where my fingers are so success was mixed
