I was very surprised at the number of birds and people attending.

I wild like to start with some pictures of parrots that I don't recognise.

these guys look like they are wearing camouflage, never seen the like.

I am guessing it's some kind of budgie but I don't know.

I don't have a guess on these 2.

Of course a bird show would not be complete without a RickyBird. Boy were they loud.

I got to scratch a scarlet macaw and a young blue and gold was holding my finger and trying to feed my had.

They had a yellow nape and a blue fronted amazon for 1000.00 each.
the person selling them claimed they were 5 years old. the yellow nape has a lot of yellow on it's neck to be 5 years old but I did not argue about it.

I did not take my good camera because I expected to be disappointed

so all pictures were taken with my cell phone.

hope you enjoyed the show.

Oh Cool :smile049:
I wish they had them in NJ. I do a search from time to time to no avail.

I live in NJ and I look for them all the time too! /Sigh

I see that's an old thread... but if anybody is interested in "unknown" parrots (from up to down) - regent parrots, red-rumped parrot and superb parrots
