Morning all~
I have a puzzling circumstance with Kraken's weight. Since attaining maturity, she has always hovered between 108 and 113 grams (3.81 to 3.99 oz) but rarely at either extreme usually staying at 110-111 g (3.84 - 3.88 oz.).
We had to leave in January for a week and had a live-in sitter, and when I returned, Kraken had shot up to 115 g (over 4 oz). In a week she was back down to her normal weight, but we left again in February for a week, with the same sitter, and upon return, Kraken was up to 128 g or 4.45 oz.
It has been a week and she is slowly coming back down - very slowly - but isn't this very odd? Kraken is 10 years old. Is this worth calling the vet? Or should I just give her a few weeks and see what happens. Kraken looks and acts fine, and her poops look normal... I almost said "good", but does poop ever look good? Any ideas welcome... Thanks!
