Kiwi's reaction to his new jolly ball

Kiwi's reaction to his gift this year- "What IS that big purple thing in my domain?!". I think he must like it because he immediately ran over and started ripping all the beads off and poking his head inside Hasn't gone inside it yet, but I give it to the end of next week and he'll have a new place to hangout

If he's already curious about it, he's going to love it! I love the tiny little duck on there . I can't wait to see pics of Kiwi inside! Then I'll have to show Kiwi's pic to my boys as a hint . That's the same one I have in purple. Maybe I need to find a different location for it for anyone to take interest finally. I think that was a perfect gift for Kiwi.

They have 4 sizes to fit all size birds I believe... they have a bigger one than that!

I'm rather impressed that his initial reaction wasn't mind-numbing fear. Between the size and color, most parrots would've shown some serious apprehension. Go Kiwi!

Kiwi is pretty fearless, especially when something appears in 'his turf'. I think he "knows" we wouldn't hang something with big bright beads on his tree that was going to hurt him

Update- He is really liking ripping all the beads off. He keeps sticking his head in and has even perched on the edge, but has yet to go in. I think he's not sure about that curved plastic bottom, so I'm going to make a little pillow for the bottom (Kiwi isn't a fabric chewer) and see if that helps encourage him to go in
