Kiwiberry harness training herself

Hi guys! Been missing the forums, haven't been on in a while, how's everyone doing?!

As some of you know, unless you've missed my thread about it (I really hope I made the thread so I don't look like an idiot here...), but I've started harness training Kiwiberry.
It's not going very well to be honest, the problem is letting it touch her head, she just wants to play with it instead.

The other day however, I gave her toilet paper to shred, she ripped a hole in it and popped her head through it! Snug and secure like the harness would be. Minus the secure part...
I took it off and tried putting it on her again, no problem. So hopefully this will help with the harness training! :)

I wish I had got a picture of it, she looked so cute.
But today I ate some lunch in the kitchen and wrapped some toilet paper around my arm so she could play with it. I made like a little bump, short tunnel like structure and guess what? First her head goes in, then ... Well let me just show you instead;

Took a few shots with the phone to get her head to be visible, it was going everywhere while she was squealing.
But how cute is that?!

Is that normal playing behaviour or is she just odd? The head going everywhere while squealing, she always does that when she wants to play with me or toilet paper. At first I thought it was a bad thing, but it doesn't seem to be a good thing now..

No more odd than my CAG inside a soda 12 pack box with just his tail feathers sticking out...

It's just play.

It should help, though Milo (my brotogeris) loves to be wrapped like a burrito after every bath while I pretend to eat him...and he imitates the eating sounds.

But then the harness. He did not like it.

Oops, I meant it does seem to be a good thing.

Haha, sounds like a good time!
Kiwiberry likes to go to bed with me now, so i let her play and then settle down before she goes to her cage to sleep, last night I think it was, she thought I took too long to get under the blanket and make a little hut next to me for her, so she thought biting my nipple would speed things up. Boy was she right!

That's so cute, Kiwiberry hates being touched after bathing.

Such a cutie pie Kiwiberry is!

I have also started trying to harness train my gcc, Mozzie. I have been putting a sunflower seed in front of the opening for his head where he has to stick his head or at least his beak through it to get the seed. We are going slow and he is not afraid to put most of his head in. I am planning on slowly making him reach for the sunflower seed until his head is all the way through. I figure I have a few months before it's nice enough outside for him to need his harness so we have plenty of time to work on this.

I've tried with sunflower seeds too, but she's more interested in making me loose the grip of the harness or going around it to get it lol
