Keen is out of his cage & doing something weird!

I got Keen out ... I have him cradled in a blanket because he was really scared. I rubbed his head & talked to him & he calmed down but he started making a weird noise & kind of moving his tongue around. It seemed almost like a sucking or suckling noise. Anyone know what that is?

I would say he is hot from being in the blanket & is panting to stay cool.
Once he is cool he should stop.

if it's like a grinding sound then he's content.

If it's more of a purring then he's probably content. Sometimes quackers makes almost a sucking/grunting type noise when he's very pleased I'm bringing him food, or I should know that its time to get him some food.
