Congrats, it was fun to read Kayko's Story!! How exciting =)

I just had to show this to my Mom, she loved it and was amazed at how many peoples lives Kayko has touched =)

Alwese ,I read in another post your taking all 3 to the fair . How do you do that? One on your shoulder and one on each arm:p

A volenteer at the rescue had an idea to make a birdie buggie. They take a baby stroller and add two perches on it one were the food and drink holders are and the other slightly further down. This is very convenient to take birds out, although it looks odd so I usually just carry mine on my arms:p.

This fair thing I will be setup to take donations for some activity in their church by putting Kayko on peoples' arms for cell phone pictures. I will be setup in one place and will have all three transport cages right with me with either Doogie and Kayko or Clifford and Kayko out at any given time. NOT Doogie and Clifford as they would fight; each is striving to be alpha male. Clifford always wants to be on my left shoulder, so much so that I have a shirt made up that says 'Clifford' and an up facing arrow on the left side. Kayko really wants to be only on your forearm and would never climb to your shoulder. Doogie positively will only go to a forearm and cannot be made to climb up onto your shoulder. Why they want to be like this I do not know but it hasn't changed in 10 years!

You are certainly not the first one with the "birdie buggy" idea. The first one I saw was a lady at a flea market with two perches mounted on a child's plastic wagon. She had two beautiful greenwings. Inspired by her, I bought one of those runner's three wheel baby strollers and mounted two perches on it. None of my parrots would stay on it for one second as soon as I pushed it!!! I eventually sold it at a birdclub auction to someone else who wanted to give it a try. Somewhere on my harddrive I have pictures of these and so far have not found them. I have S-o-o-o-o many pictures.

Congrads he sure is a beautiful bird
