Can anyone tell if our green Kakariki is a female? We’ve bred from the yellow male previously with a different female but these two aren’t mating yet despite being together now for about three months.

It's from my understanding that you sex Kakariki's based on size... males are bigger and broader where-as females are smaller and tinier.
If your two kaks are the same size, then I would guess that they are both males. If the green one is smaller than the yellow, then she's a female.

All are rescues- had to leave their previous homes for 'reasons', are still in contact with them :)
Send in a few feathers for DNA-testing, then you will be sure.

The Green one is a male also. You tell that mainly by the size and shape of the beak. Males bodies are bigger as MonicaMC points out, however that is not always the case, as some males can be unusually slim.
